Horseshoe
We flew to Little Rock with my parents and Aunt Jennifer and have been relaxing here for 10 days. Sara and Mark came over one night for dinner and Graham enjoyed seeing all of his Grandparents. Here are some pictures from last week. We also went to Memphis to see Sara and Mark and Graham's great grandparents Mimi and Papa, but I don't have those pictures on this computer. When I get them I will try and post some. Graham is almost 10 months now and he can crawl fast everywhere, and he likes to close his eyes when he crawls fast, pull up on everything, say dada, mamma, and duck and quack. He said gee gee before we left Auburn, that's his way of saying Shakey. He can almost take a step, he loves pushing his lawn mower by himself and dancing. He enjoys playing hide and seek by crawling around and you chasing him. He eats baby cereal, peaches, applesauce, pears, sweet potatoes, and banana from Mommy's finger. No carrots for him he is still allergic! He likes to lick popsicles. He loves to bark like a dog and he liked looking at his Nana's cats and Sam (my parents cat). He loves banging on toys especially his drum that his Aunt Stephanie got him. He does not like to sleep or have anything foreign put in his mouth (like toys, momma's finger, table food) He loves to smile and give kisses to the ones he loves! Thanks to Aunt Stephanie for taking all of these pictures!!
Thanksgiving in Houston at Aunt Sarah's and Uncle Marshall's house
Sorry this is late. We have been traveling since Nov. 22 and I am very behind on my blogging! We have a lot to catch up with from the past 2 weeks. We had a great Thanksgiving with all of my family in Houston, except Brad, Aunt Jodie, Uncle Nick and my nephew Porter (we sure did miss them). Graham cut more top teeth while we were in Houston and that made for some rough nights. We enjoyed our time in Houston and cannot wait to see Aunt Sarah and Uncle Marshall again soon.

Graham Laughing
Graham loves his bath time again. However, it is not the same without Daddy giving it to him. He did think his Mommy was pretty funny the other night and Sarah captured it on camera. Enjoy!!!

Callie and Graham
Graham and I flew into Houston yesterday to visit Marshall and Sarah for Thanksgiving. Graham slept on the plane and was excited when he got to see Callie when we walked in the door. He is having fun but misses his daddy.

Graham has 2 more Teeth!
Graham cut his 2 top teeth on Monday Nov. 10th. He did not have any symptoms besides having a little runny nose for about 3 days before. He looks very funny when he laughs or cries because he opens his mouth wide and we can see his 2 top teeth coming in. Sorry no pictures, he does not like you to stick your finger in his mouth. We are looking forward to a relaxing weekend with Brad home and doing family stuff this weekend before our big trip to Houston and Memphis.

Graham likes to swing at the park
Graham really enjoys going to the park. There is a park called Hickory Dickory Park not far from us and Graham likes to go there. He loves to pick the grass and touch the fallen leaves. He also really likes to swing in the big boy swings. He loves to watch the other kids on the play ground run around.

Graham loves BATH TIME!
Graham loves his bath time. Tonight he actually crawled into the bathroom and pulled up on the tub and started singing very loudly. Brad went in there and turned on the water and Graham started jumping up and down. Brad gives Graham his bath every night after dinner and I clean up dinner. As soon as Graham has finished his cereal he starts whining to go get in the bath. So Brad quickly finishes his dinner and puts Graham in the tub. Then I clean up the kitchen in peace and quite. Brad turns on his ipod and they listen to their music and Graham sings, splashes, tastes, stands up, plays with his boat and usually tee tees in the bath tub. They have a great time and when I come in to say hi Graham gives me a huge smile.
Graham's rash with Carter's onesies
We finally figured out what was causing Graham's rash on his back, Carter's onesies. Yes he was one of the babies effected with the sensitive skin breakout from the Fall 2007 edition of some of Carter's onesies. I contacted Carter's today and they were very concerned and are going to refund the money from the onesies and send me envelops to send back the "bad" onesies. They beleive the die they used in some "tagless" onesies is causing this breakout rash on some babies. My parents saw a special on the Today's show and told me about the onesies from Carters. This is after 2 months of us changing detergents, going to the Pediatrician, Graham only sleeping in a diaper, different creams, and not to mention sleepless nights! So I'm glad we have this mystery solved!

Happy Halloween 2008
We celebrated my Birthday by carving a pumpkin. Well Brad did the "carving" because that is what he likes to do, cut things up. Graham and I helped scrape out the seeds and slimy parts. Graham enjoyed getting dirty! Graham went to his first Halloween as a lion. His Aunt Jodie sent the costume to us last year when I was pregnant and I never thought it would fit (6-12 months). Well it fit him great and he got several compliments! We enjoyed going to downtown Auburn as a family and listening to the band and talking with friends.

One year ago today...

One year ago today I turned 28 and I was 23 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. I went to work as usual at Overstreet in Starkville, carved a pumpkin at work and came home to have Riley greet me at the door. Brad and I took this picture to remember what I looked like. Wow has my life changed in one year. I have a wonderful 8 and half month baby boy to keep me on my toes and we have moved to a different city, Brad is a veterinarian and working and we all miss Riley (who is enjoying himself running around on the farm.) One year ago today, I didn't know that I would have met all of the wonderful breast feeding moms in Auburn. We have really held on to one another's support during this once in a lifetime journey of being first time mothers. As much as I enjoyed my "Old Life" I would not change anything now. Graham has added such warmth to mine and Brad's heart that nobody could ever imagine! I try to remember everyday to take it one day at a time and live for that day because you will never get it back. After all isn't that what a birthday is all about? The celebration life.

Graham's new piano table
Tailgating in Starkville
We had a great time visiting old friends in Starkville last weekend. Both Grandpas drove from Memphis to see Graham and go see the Bulldogs play in action. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Marshall drove 9 hours from Houston to visit their nephew and visit with their in-laws. We all had a wonderful time tailgating at the Dumas famous tailgate. Laura and I sat outside the game with our babies wrapped up warm and Brad met with his friend Gil and visited. Hope, Laura and I really enjoyed being together again in Starkville. Sarah saw some of her old friends there also. We spent the night at Marshall's parents house and had breakfast with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Marshall. We cannot wait to see them again at Thanksgiving in Houston!

Graham's train
Last weekend we went to babies r us and we got Graham his first train. He loves it because he can pull up on it and it plays lots of fun music. He likes to push it and he like to ride on it. Graham is getting so big so quickly. He really enjoys pulling up on everything and trying to walk. We completed our swimming class last night and Graham enjoyed it as usual. Hopefully we will enroll again next spring!

Baby Lamb
Graham loves to watch baby einstein. When I take a shower I put in the DVD baby einstein and Graham immediately smiles! His favorite character is baby lamb. He makes his high pitch squeal as if to tell baby lamb "hello" when he comes on the screen, and gives a big smile. Graham now has to watch baby einstein in his walker so he cannot crawl wherever he wants when I'm in the shower.

Pumpkin Patch
We enjoyed going to the pumpkin patch yesterday where Graham got to see chickens, ducks, roosters, goats, sheep and horses. He had fun playing in the pool of corn. We also got to watch a border collie herd sheep. I know Shakey would have loved to been there for that! We enjoyed picking out our pumpkin from the patch.

Pulling up in his crib
Yes Graham can now pull up in his crib and loves it. He would actually rather stand than sit or crawl.
